Purpose
Accelerate and control the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation that are of strategic importance for the country in the field of AI development
The Headquarters comprises the heads of digital transformation of federal government bodies, representatives of the business and the academy
Areas of activity
- coordinating bodies of executive power in order to accelerate the development of AI technologies
- making the decisions on the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation in the field of AI jointly with the expert network
Achievements (with the participation of the AI Headquarters)
- The "second wave" of research centers with a sectoral focus has been selected
- An updated national AI development strategy has been developed
- An award for scientists, entrepreneurs, public sector employees from the regions of the Russian Federation has been established
- An experiment was conducted to involve ANCO Federal Competences Center in scaling up the implementation of AI in economic sectors
- Intellectual Maturity Index has been calculated for the first time
- A national rating of domestic universities has been compiled based on the quality of training of specialists in the field of AI
